These are cool. Sad to see they rust away just the same in the states.

This on still got some life in it yet. Maybe they're going to fix the rust. Looked like a project that started with mechanicals.

Hell yeah great spot.

They live forever, who needs bodywork anyway? This is my farm ute, it needs a little work mechanically but it gets faster every year as more bodywork falls off reducing the weight. Like a chapman said "Add lightness."

Dat patina.

Sure, as a farm of offroader no need. If you want to drive it on the road there's work to be done.

Oh yeah, plenty of body work needed on this one. If I put a spotlight under the floor facing up at night and you look at the floor from inside the cab it looks like the sky on a clear night. So many constellations.
It's fun(for me) when I take a guest on a drive around the farm which will include a drive though a water hole that is deep enough to fill the inside of the floor to ankle height, it's fun for me because it's not my shoes and socks that get wet.

I want to visit you now. I'll make sure to wear appropriate foot wear. Can I take a turn driving?

Ha ha! Of course! You can be Stig.

Maine license plate? I'm impressed there's THAT much of it left!

Maybe they imported it from Georgia?

I found some photos, unfortunately no action shots. The waterhole gets deeper a bit further in but I only have this shot from a solo drive and had to park close to the edge to jump off, I didn't want to get my feet wet.
Apologies for this out of focus picture, I was either still laughing too hard, drunk, or both. My dad went for a drive and tried using it for blackberry(weed not device) removal. It works pretty well for that purpose

Looks like it is marking its territory in that second shot.

Hee hee hee(hillbilly laugh)
Yeah, it marks it's territory EVERYWHERE it goes! You could probably track it with a metal detector, there's enough rust particles left in its wake.
BTW, Do you know if water/mud is a cause of rust?
